The Vesper service at the Presbyterian church last evening offered a memorable quiet hour with soft light and mellow music. Reverend Carmichael spoke on truth and freedom, while the choir rendered Now the Day is Over. The service will continue each Sabbath from five to six, with plans for an Easter program and special musical offerings. Elders elected and church committees noted. Industrial Union and social events announced for Wednesday. A large attendance filled other Christian church services during the day, with missionary emphasis and San d evening lectures planned at First Baptist.

Dodson Hurt In Runaway Accident Near Town
W. J. Dodson living north of town was severely injured Saturday when the horse or cart overturn occurred as a colt led by a Mrs. Cunningham’s animal caused the harness to wrap around a wheel. He suffered bruises on the right side and loss of use of his right arm, with probable muscle or ligament damage but no obvious internal injuries.

The Young Ladies Domestic Science Club was entertained Saturday afternoon by Miss Ruth Roark at her sister Mrs W B Garner's West North Street home. Miss Ruth Campbell led with picnic lunch ideas and Beulah Campbell demonstrated broiled meats. Recipes included broiled white fish and sirloin with oyster blanket. Well Known Woman Stricken By Paralytic Stroke
Mrs. Ann Williamson aged eighty eight suffered a paralytic stroke Sunday around 6 am near her East Main street home. She fell in the alley, was found helpless by daughter Mrs. May Matthews, carried inside, four doctors summoned, and by Monday remained unconscious in critical condition with the entire right side affected.

John M Sullins Dead After Long Illness
John M Sullins died Saturday at 7 pm at Elston Place after months of illness. Born in Hendricks county in 1841, he moved to Boone county, served in the Tenth Indiana during the Civil War, and was wounded at Kenesaw Mountain. He taught 28 years, served nine years as county superintendent, later farmed near Elston, and belonged to Union Veteran Legion and Royal Arcanum. He is survived by a widow and two children. Funeral from his residence tomorrow at 10 am with Rev L S Smith officiating. interment at Springvale cemetery.
