Ezra Etchberger of 557 Cumberland Street Hebron visited a farm near Iona on Tuesday to pick cherries. While 25 feet up a tree he slipped and fell breaking his collarbone and suffering severe bruises. He weighed about 220 pounds and was treated at home by Dr. Ed H. Gingrich.
Agnes Hissner of North Sixth Street charged Edith Diasinger after a Tuesday night dispute ended in a fight. Hissner says Diasinger threw her into the gutter and cut her cheek with shears, leaving a three inch gash. Warrant issued to County Detective Sattazaba. hearing set for Saturday at 3 0 PM.

The Farmers National Bank directors declare a three percent dividend on capital stock payable July 1 1902. Five dollars is transferred to the surplus fund bringing it to 45000. This marks the second time $1000 was added to surplus during the current period. The bank, under ten years old, has paid three percent dividends each year and built a strong surplus.
The Quincy Daily Ledger reports the second piano recital by Allen H. Daugherty pupils at Colonial hall. Daugherty, a Boston music teacher born in Pennsylvania, trained at the Conservatory of Music and graduated with honors in 1904. He formerly resided in Quincy and now runs a Tremont Street studio in Boston. Next year he will teach two days weekly in Quincy and invites interested persons to respond.
