A two car collision Friday evening at Sixth and Cumberland Streets caused estimated damage of $60. Police identified drivers as Kenneth W. Hoke 37 of Lebanon Route 4 and James A. Snell 17 of 33 South Wilson Street Cleona.
At the Keystatte Cement Co in Bath Pennsylvania two men were electrocuted when a crane hit a passing car and a boom touched a traffic light. One man Snell died. the other victim burned badly. The incident damaged the Snell car and involved a vehicle owned by Andrew L and Ethel M Snell.
George W. Cassel 85 of Hershey died Friday at Hershey Hospital. Former Milton Hershey School teacher. owned a Derry Road grocery. survived by wife Elizabeth. six or more relatives including three daughters, two sisters, two brothers, ten grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren. Loyd H. Parson 82 of Newmanstown died on arrival at Good Samaritan Hospital after a coronary. Retired trucker. survived by wife Eroma Strickler. children Mildred, Hoya, Chester. sister Kate Nace. eleven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mrs. Clara E. Robb of Old Forge Acres Palmyra RID 1 will be held this afternoon at Rhothermes Funeral Home Palmyra. The Rev James E Hayes of the Assembly of God Church Palmyra will officiate. Interment at Gravel Hill Cemetery Palmyra. Pallbearers are John Teaht Edgar Teaht Richard Cassel Frank Lingle Melvin Huffman and Benjamin Buck.
Services for Mrs Phoebe Pier son Seabrook of E Houston Street New York City will be held this afternoon at the Rodland Par lor Lebanon with Rev Gilbert D Snyder of Hincaln EUB Church Reading officiating and interment at Mh Annville Cemetery. Hearers include Howard Brandt Franklin Swanger Karl Yordy and Raymond Yordy.
Miss Adah May Flowers 83 of Spang Crest Lutheran Church neighborhood died Friday noon at Wernersville Hospital after a lingering illness. A daughter of the late Aaron W and Tacie E Flowers she was the last of her immediate family. Several nieces and nephews survive.
Donna J. Baylor aged to be injured Friday afternoon after reportedly falling from a car at home at 327 N Ninth Street. She was treated at Good Samaritan Hospital.

Roy Kistler and Willard Bennyhoff, both 39 and 43 respectively from Slatington, were identified as injured workers from Harry Orkin and Co. A Keystone employee, Joseph Toth of Nazareth, was burned while attempting to rescue them from a crane cab.
Funeral services for Attorney William S McLean were conducted Friday in Wilkes-Barre. McLean, who lived in Lebanon during World War II while stationed at Indiantown Gap, died Tuesday on his birthday. He resided with his wife and three children on Quak Street and worked at a Wilkes-Barre law firm once partnered with former Governor Arthur James. He served in Europe as a commissioned officer and was a member of the Lebanon Country Club.
The District Attorney described a major burglary case in which Mrs Miller and two men packed hundreds of jewelry items into a pillow case from beds and hid the loot in grass near Sixteenth Street. They later moved pieces to a car trunk and recovered the jewelry after days, storing most of it in a hotel bureau. The stash included an $11,000 diamond-encrusted ladies watch and pieces with diamonds rubies and emeralds.
Coppenhaver confessed to arranging disposal of stolen jewelry taken from the Miller home and linked with Emswiler known as Red who aided in selling items to a York dealer for about 400 to 1000 dollars. Detectives traced the bag to York then Lebanon. Darker also signed a burglary confession.

Coppenhaver and Darken reenacted the burglary. Darkes allegedly convicted of armed liquor store robbery in Brooklyn and later jailed. Emschler faces bad check charges. Coppenhaver employed locally. Darkes divorced and soon to start North Carolina work. Emschler married and VA Hospital employee.
The House group approved a defense bill seen as an administration endorsement while trimming RS70 funds by 25 million amid tension with McNamara. The panel allowed expanded RS70 funding if needed, with allocations totaling Army 12.1 billion, Navy 14.37 billion, Air Force 18.97 billion, other agencies 2.25 billion.
Fire caused by spontaneous combustion damaged a garage at 443 North Twentieth Street West Lebanon. Gov. Scranton signed a law granting a property tax exemption for qualified blind or paraplegic veterans whose need is certified by the State Veterans Commission. The exemption applies to the veteran's primary home, with biannual reviews and eligibility tied to service-connected blindness or paraplegia. Reighe, 17, of 21 Hill St. Reigle said a pedestrian stepped onto the street causing him to stop. damage totaled about 165 dollars with 150 to Reigle’s car and 15 to the other.

Bell International Corp maker of machinery stated it was negotiating to buy control of Twin Industries Corp of Buffalo. The incident occurred Friday afternoon and he was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital.
