The evening paper appears at No 14 Bonth Eighth Street on weekdays except Sunday. It offers weekly and monthly rates and promises full coverage of local and general news with concise summaries and presentable records of public affairs.
A church concert will be held at the Reformed Church in Jonestown Saturday evening led by Rev. DB Albright, Bethany Orphans' Home superintendent. Donations totaling 100.89 from Miram Reformed Church Reading are acknowledged. A new two story passenger car for the Camden and Atlantic Railroad is planned for this summer between Philadelphia and Atlantic City. Prisoners were discharged and jailed individuals reported for drunkenness and disorderly conduct.
