Mire Katie Pusytoni of 512 Poplar Street died suddenly at 2:00 this morning at her home of a heart attack. She was 59. Her husband Mike Pusytoni is the sole survivor.
Heavy construction contracts for the week ended June 6 reached 84.5 million dollars, up 3.5 million from the prior week and 50 percent above the long term average. May oil output totaled 5,802,085 barrels vs 6,224,780 in May 1982. American Airlines carried 10,272 passengers in May, up 61 percent from April. Eastern Air Transp May passengers reached 6,359, a new monthly high, up from 5,269 in April.
Lowanna Cramer of Ford City Pennsylvania arrived to spend several months with her grandparents Mr and Mrs Charleslott ehberger on North Ninth street.
Jacob Roedswecker Beetem of Mt. Gretna Lebanon county died Tuesday at his daughter’s home Downingtown following a seven months illness of complications. He was 78, a retired accountant formerly of Philadelphia. He lived at Mt. Gretna for years and was known to residents there and in Lebanon. He belonged to the Lutheran church in Philadelphia. The body was taken to Arnold funeral home Chestnut Street for services. Surviving: widow Alicea EF Beetem and three children Mary R Heille Downingtown Frank G Beetem Germantown and Dorothy Walter Frackville Ta.
Adam G. Bender died at his son Samuel M Bender's home in Annville on Wednesday at age 82. He spent most of his life in Wernersville except the last five years with his son. He belonged to Hains Reformed Church in Wernersville and is survived by one son a sister Mrs John Klopp of Wernersville and several grandchildren. Funeral arrangements are being made in Wernersville.
The Evangelical Congregational church Lawn will host Children’s Day on Sunday evening June 11 with a program titled The Loving Way by the Sabbath school. Bible school begins June 19 at B. C. church. Various local church and community notices follow including services, baptisms, and parish events.
Richland Pa Saturday evening the Willing Workers of Grace Reformed Sunday School will host a supper in the church basement. Local residents share visits and notes of recovery as Lebanon Sanatorium patients improve after major operations.
Mr and Mrs John Shananian host a visit from Mrs Rose Rutter of Lebanon at the Hartman home. Children's Day will be observed this Sunday evening June 11 at 7 36 in Grace FE church with services.

Miss Meda White is home from Good Samaritan hospital recovering from a skull fracture. Sunday school practices for Children's Day are planned for Saturday. Marvin Mase helps in haymaking with his father Aaron Mase. William Loud Jr. works for Mt Gretna Park company.

The Ladies Aid society of the First Reformed church will hold a lawn social on the church lawn at Tenth and Walnut streets Saturday evening. Ice cream strawberries cakes and candies will be offered. A musical program will begin at 8 o clock.

Easton report says 64 year old Mrs Anna Woodrow died after plunging from a second floor porch when the railing collapsed. She suffered a broken neck and head trauma in the incident. Authorities described the fall as accidental.
