A distracted man helps a stranger with a match in a dim setting, then follows him as he leaves. The absentminded figure clumsily lights a cigarette, loosening his grip on nerves and social signals, while a waiter narrates the odd exchange and its odd consequences.
Berks County pastor Leimbach marked a long life of service to the Reformed church. The septuagenarian leader, credited with organizing regional reform efforts, recalled decades of ministry, teaching and parish work across Water and Lebanon areas, as well as connections with numerous congregations and families.
