Andrew Jackson Pell a long time Lebanon resident died from a brain concussion after a wagon loaded with lathe struck a stock car, then crashed through a fence and onto South Lebanon street. The Metzger Lumber Co team was driven by Pell, who attempted to jump free and was fatally injured. Funeral set at Milledgeville M P Church with Rev. P W Boxwell. burial at Old Union.

The ladies of the Methodist church hosted an all day picnic at the M. KE. church. They arrived with well filled baskets for lunch and sewing. A morning bazaar item making session preceded a post lunch comedy by church women and the gathering wound down near supper time.

Burial of Mrs Miller at Lutheran Church near Darlington
