A Superior Court jury found in favor of the Great Northern Railway in the damages case filed by William B. Paton for injuries to himself and his car at Cashmere on December 9, 1920. The railway argued it took all precautions and that the train was crossing as the automobile approached. Paton contended no warnings were sounded and visibility was insufficient to avoid the collision.
