Mrs. H. K. Johnson visited Skykomish for several days last week. Grandma Schaffer returned to Wenatchee from Elmer Ogden’s home on Friday afternoon. Clifford Newdall came home from Seattle for a short stay with Mr. and Mrs. Bert Hagler. Phil O’Larey stopped at No. 1 on Sunday visiting friends and relatives, after working in Othello.

Ideal Section plans for Lincoln Highway in Indiana
Plans submitted to the Bureau of Public Roads by Indiana State Highway Department outline an Ideal Section for the Lincoln Highway in Lake County Indiana to be built next summer. The 1 1/2 mile long central 100 foot right of way will feature a 40 foot wide roadway with 5 foot shoulders on each side and allow for concrete bituminous concrete or brick pavement.

Lamb Weighs 79 Pounds in 78 Days
Dr. Bob Prior of Yakima reports a 78 day old lamb weighing 79 pounds, above the 65.8 pound average for its age. The five lambs were born December 18 and 19, sired by Hampshire rams and out of Lincoln Rambouillet cross bred ewes, a cross extension service endorses for market lambs.
