Wenatchee Enlistee Pfaff Dies in Airplane Accident
Albert Wynne Pfaff enlisted in the aviation service last spring and was killed in an airplane accident at Garden City New York last Sunday. He was eighteen years old and had finally been accepted at Spokane on January 1 1918 after multiple enlistment attempts.

Former Peshastin Youth Dies in Seattle Pneumonia
Lee Meeker formerly of Peshastin died in Seattle last Sunday from pneumonia. He was about 18 or 19. Survived by his parents two sisters Gertrude and Katie and a brother Robert. Remains brought home Tuesday for burial at Leavenworth cemetery.

Car Plunges Off Grade Near Wenatchee in Thunder Storm
West Searles his son Ike and brother Ernest rolled their Ford sixteen feet down an embankment on the Wenatchee road north of Dryden during a Sunday evening storm. No one was seriously hurt though the car was damaged. Twelve other cars became stuck in mud nearby and required assistance over a washout.

A sizable family reunion occurred at Mr. and Mrs. F. T. Motteler’s residence this week. Oscar Walquist and his two sons from Long Beach California, formerly of Iowa, met Mrs. Walquist’s parents Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Johnson from Iowa.
