Italy's air force ranks third after Germany and France with two successful airship types the Brigata Specialisti and Forlanini. The P, M, and G classes evolved from 1904 to 1914, with ships shipped to Libya during the Italo-Turkish War proving valuable in Africa. The fleet includes land squadrons with machine guns, armored bombardiers, and newer Caproni planes, while the airship fleet totals are listed alongside other nations.
