Jap Team An Easy Victim In Leavenworth Baseball
A crowd watched a mixed attendance game where Nippon champions faced local players. Leavenworth batted well early and scored five runs in the first inning while pitchers struggled, seventeen strikeouts and one hit produced no runs for the visitors. Umpire Moore drew mixed reactions as the crowd mocked his calls and the season looked near done with trout fishing ahead and a farewell to baseball until 1911.
