Government Improves Forests With $48667 For Public Works
The government authorized 48667 for this year to build telephone lines roads and trails in Washington national forests. Seedless and Coreless Pears Discovered in Oregon Orchard
A. I. Mason, Hood River orchardist, found a tree producing six boxes of seedless pears during canning prep. Initially thought a freak, the entire crop proved seedless. Experts now classify the fruit as a Clapps Favorite variety or a similar unfamiliar type. Further study is ongoing to determine the true identity and cause of this horticultural anomaly.
