Wenatchee Apples Ship to France for Soldiers

Christmas Packages to Soldiers from Leavenworth Red Cross
The Leavenworth Red Cross Chapter completed its final Christmas package shipment for soldiers. One hundred seventy five were allotted to the local chapter, with one hundred fifty three shipped. First shipment had thirty three packages, second seventy five with fifteen from Peshastin auxiliary, third forty five. Donations totaled 21.50 from four donors and 7.05 of that was spent on express to Seattle headquarters. the rest funded additional packages.
