Pilkingtons and the family doctors of old maid sisters
John Pilkington moves into a flat with his wife Millicent where five aunts and sisters in law nurse him with old fashioned remedies. Miss Amelia and others insist on care and plaster cures while Pilkington feigns illness, escapes to return home, and laments the women’s overprotective hospitality. Millicent jokes about his feigned sickness and the sisters lament his departure.
