Mrs G H Borris visited Sioux City on Tuesday while John Zimmerman spent Tuesday with friends in Waahta. Several residents traveled to Correctionville for events, funerals, or visits. Dwellings, farm moves, illnesses, and social gatherings fill the items, including a house fire at Sam Kelso’s farm and a joyous gathering at the W O W hall.
John Alfernon heads to Merrill on Mondattoan business while Mittie Stanton returns from Sioux City and visits the Thompson family. Rev. O L Mossman conducts services at the Newell school house. A Wednesday social at Arnold Schrotan’s home drew an enjoyable crowd. Farewell party planned for Mr and Mrs Charles Walker Tuesday. Joan Stokes of LeMars visits family for Worth Stokes wedding. Wu H N Newell and daughter M a visited with their friend Mrs Peter Murphy and family on Thursday. Mrs Newell attended the ladies home mission at the home of Mrs Young in LeMars on Tuesday last. H Newell and family visited at the Farlow home in LeMars recently. Rev O L Mossman preached at the Newell schoolhouse after spending weekend in Sioux City.

Bertha Sheets was reported missing at one point, and Berman Neff died, with community members hosting socials and school fundraisers. The Woolworth school valentine social and literary entertainment raised twenty seven dollars and forty cents for a flag and school improvements.
Specilorrespondence reports Chas Geidenschield remains in a very serious condition. Mrs G S Bent visited Grants tow ship on Friday. Albert Cualhoon left Thursday for Monnesita not to farm. Mrs L J Hammond has been visiting in Dalton since Friday evening.
Special Correspondence' Fred King visited Westfield on Wednesday as parties eye buying the Congregation church site at Bells Vista for relocation to Jefferson. Ned Mason rents Tom Walsh's farm for the year. Tom will tend his own stock and act as his own boss. Mr. Wise bought a son of cattle in South Dakota for three hundred dollars. Mr. Erickson bought a mare for 115 dollars. Horses remain in good price and scarce. A barge typically brings about one hundred dollars. Will Millier shipped hogs from Sioux City to Jefferson this week. Miss Tillier Msthwig visited locally.
