Car Hits Cow Near Merrill Leaves Driver with Minor Injuries

A 1956 car driven by Bob Solomon of Merrill struck a cow about one mile west of Merrill around 9:30 p m Thursday. Solomon’s car was wrecked but he suffered only a lip cut. The cow was killed. Deputy Jim Meates investigated the accident. Solomon had been severely injured in a prior crash several weeks earlier miles away.

The State Highway Commission announced a set of 04 projects for the April 30 letting. Plymouth County on highway 12 north-westerly into Westfield will receive 7.6 miles of Portland cement pavement.
