Car Crash Injures Six Le Mars Youths After Out of Control Ride
Six Le Mars youths were injured Sunday evening when a car lost control on a patch of paving and hit a bridge abutment about three miles west of Renken. They were taken to Sacred Heart hospital. four remain in fair condition. Mass Barbara Nemmers, 19, suffered a broken pelvis others include Kenneth Busch 13 with a dislocated hip and broken pelvis Bul Bauch 19 with a bruised back and fractured ribs Mary Bauch 16 with chest and rib injuries Raymond Banach Jr 11 and Betty Nemmers 13 treated for scrapes. An undated driver witness said the Baach car, traveling about 40 mph, suddenly failed to control near the spot. Ambulances from Remsen and Le Mars transported all injured. The group had been dining in Remsen to attend a basketball game.

A rosary was recited and her wake and burial planned in Le Mars with burial at St Josephs Cemetery. She is survived by a nephew Lester J Weisgerber of Downey California.

Death of Martin Dornbusch at Howard after illness
Martin Dornbusch former resident here died December 1 at home in Howard after a three month illness. He had been a patient at McKennon Hospital in Sioux Falls for six weeks. Funeral services were held Sunday at St Nathas church Rex Patho Kolbech officiated. Surviving are his wife three sons five daughters ten grandchildren and several siblings.
