City Council Hears Rezoning Move For Plymouth Street
More than twenty property owners attended the meeting as the council considered rezoning a two block Plymouth Street stretch from residential to business to allow a new service station at Plymouth and 3rd Avenue NW. The plan was tabled due to a missing council member and opposition citing value impact. The session also reviewed a land vacating and selling proposal near the Chicago Northwestern railroad east of 2nd Avenue NE and north of Moore’s Lumber Yard, with no action taken. In other business the beer permit for Branch’s Bowling Alley was renewed.
