Brems Charles Ethyje Switzer have left the high school and will be missed. Garrett Olson Titman Harem and William Lunde entered high school, bringing total ninth graders to thirteen. Friday had no school due to Marshall county fair. Domestic Science girls progress under Miss Davidson. German class reports lingering tongue issues from pronunciation. Agriculture students study local weed patches as outdoor labs. Dr. Southwick visited and displayed physiological slides and pathological slides mounted by Corwin O Neal from Penn College.

Literary and Musical Club Meets for First Year Gathering

The Ladies Literary and Musical Islabe met at Mrs. Susie Gar’s home for the first club meeting of the year. Officers installed include President Zelma Blodgett, Vice President Maggie Piper, Secretary Retta Hines, Treasurer Della Keen, and Corresponding Secretary Rosa Richards. The program featured Roll Call on favorite summer memories, a paper by Maggie Paper on Hull Howse by Zelma Blodgett, and music selections by Susie Gaunt.
