Mrs Eliza Jane Shelton wife of John C Shelton longtime Marshall county resident died Sunday at 7 am at her home three miles north of LeGrand following chronic asthma and uremic poisoning. Born July 20 1855 in Madison County Indiana she came to the county as a child and married John C Shelton September 11 1881. Survived by seven children Ralph E Shelton Ben Shelton Mrs Charles Specht Mrs Tory Langland Mrs Lee Boswell and Lela Shelton plus three sisters, with funeral held Tuesday at 2:30 pm at Town Valley Dunkard church and burial nearby.
