All set for the Leif Ericson celebration on Labor Day next Monday September 5 in the Médicus grove a mile north of Gilman. Schools in Gilman will be closed and LeGrand and Dunbar dismiss early. Organizers expect large attendance from Iowa with a full program from 10 a.m. including an address by Congressman T J B Robinson music by the Roland hand feats by Hiner Leistad and his trained horse baseball and foot races among many events with prizes from local merchants.
