Relatives report the death of E F Hawbecker at 7 o clock Wednesday evening in Sac City where he lived with his son Russell since his wife’s death. Funeral is set for 2 p.m. Saturday at the Christian church. Full obituary to follow next week.
Lillian Thein daughter of Mrs Katharine Thein married Marvin Tow of Vincennes Ind at St Pauls parsonage in Garnaville Rev A Meyer officiated Thein family and sister Mrs Ethel Meder attended After the ceremony the couple left for Vincennes where Tow works for the government Thein holds BA from State Teachers College Cedar Falls MA from State College Ames and has taught home economics in Muskegon Mich.
News reaches this area that Dr D B Radloff and his wife are moving to LeGrand this week where he will conduct his medical practice. The Ladies Literary and Musical Club later met at Mrs Rowlison with a hobbies program, exhibits, and a hosted lunch. next gathering is Nov 15 with Mrs Keen.
Toledo merchants staged a Hallowe'en frolic Tuesday evening. Mrs Ollie Krughel teamed with Mrs Henry Renig to impersonate Mr and Mrs Babe Ruth. They won first prize and $3, sharing $1.50 each. Krughel wore a Babe Ruth baseball outfit and carried bat and glove.
