The Tia Ryan & Son grading outfit from Missouri Valley has set up near Thos. Keen's pasture west of town to begin grading the Gilman road toward Greencastle township. About 44,000 cubic yards of earth will be moved, with four months expected for completion. County Engineer Hickok met with contractor Ryan in LeGrand to discuss the job, a long prior collaboration noted with past Milwaukee railroad ties.
