Fishermen prepare gear for next Tuesday the 10th. Mrs. T. G. Gibson visits D. W. Beechout home for supper, first time since December accident. Flags adorn passing cars, seen as visible patriotism. Piano and player offered for sale on easy terms by Macan Wheeler Co Cedar Rapids.
E L Condon was a business visitor Tuesday. Various locals and visitors from Montour, Marshalltown, Cedar Falls, and Norway gathered or traveled for work, visits, or church events. An illustrated lecture A Trip through Palestine is planned at the Christian church next Sunday evening. A cemetery gate purchase and Fourth of July nostalgia item are noted.
