Wedding at Friends church marks the union of Ruth Moore and Hubert Christensen
Sunday wedding photos show bride Ruth Elizabet Moore of West Branch and groom Hubert J. Christensen of Clemons after Rev. Lloyd Hinshaw joined them at the Friends church altar. The couple planned a wedding dinner at the bride’s parents home in West Branch. Calvin R. Gaunt, longtime Marshalltown carpenter and Republican, died April 29 after an 11 week illness following a stroke. He had served as justice of the peace, constable, and pro panet committeeman, and was active in Sons of Union Veterans and local lodges.
