The Hamiltons of Chicago start February 28 to Sea Beach California for a 140 day journey along the Lincoln Highway. They walked from Tanis Monday night with their 20 month old son Leteber in an enclosed baby buggy and wore Esquimaux fur outfits to shield against March winds. The expedition aims to win two cuts and a bungalow at Seal Beach if completed on time, despite rough highway conditions. Their photo is on file at the Reporter office.
