Airplane arrival shifts danger in tropical siege
Croft prepares to defend his island settlement as natives fear an approaching airplane. Two French aviators, Philippe and Louis de Borceau, arrive after mistaking the beacon for rescue. A night attack erupts, the hut burns, Barbara evacuates amid gunfire while Croft, Roona, and the French brothers protect the women and await dawn and a possible rescue.
