High School News Brimming With Local Updates
Mr Glen Richards visited the high school on Tuesday afternoon. Alfred and Martin Omundson have left school to begin farm work. The eighth grade finished physiology and started a year review. The book-keeping class began practical office work using full books. Several students were excused from exams for six weeks. Perfect spelling marks were noted for a list of students. The Iowa Railway and Light company now controls the Belle Plaine plant. Local business men Krupicka and Hendal buy the wagon shop stock. Friends quarterly meeting drew many from Le Grand area. A social gathering at the Meltvedt home featured a unique program and a large luncheon after.
