Kenneth I Perry CMSe Ken sends thanks from Upham Nebraska area for LeGrano's Fighting Men card and Shotgun articles. He recalls schoolmates and hometown pride while serving in the Ganal Zone in February 1942 and hopes for a blitz end to the war.
Miss Mabel Lunde daughter of Mrs. Rachel Lunde of Quarry and George Collins of Des Moines married Saturday in Des Moines. Collins works as personnel manager at the Des Moines Ord nance plant and plans army service. Mabel remains in Des Moines as a U S Employment Service interviewer. Also notes moves and a Perisho son serving in northern Africa as a ground mechanic.
The message thanks friends for a beautiful chair presented in LeGrand and expresses lasting appreciation for the pleasant days shared there.
