The Townspeople with spokesman Charles Harvey hosted a splendid dinner at Levis Beane cafe for the basketball team, coach, superintendent, manager, and janitor. The event featured a scarlet and black decor, a mock court table, a score board showing LeGrand 22 Gilman 17, and trophies from last year and this year. Superintendent Van De Venter acted as toastmaster, and speakers offered clever remarks before a hour and a half of enjoyable entertainment.
