Town merchants signed a contract with J D Peck of Vanclere to present a summer series of talkie films. Peck, backed by Green Mountain and Vanclere audiences, will show operable cinema in the town square with bank night cash prizes funded by ads. They host the Reporter editor and wife with a lavish open house in their self built trailer home titled Our Vagabond Home. The trailer includes a complete kitchen, sleeping area, lighting, and a 25 gallon water system. They plan to continue travels starting Monday stopping in Clinton then Minnesota and finally Delaware.
