LeGrand Wins Tight Baseball Contest After Ninth Inning Tie
Dillon boys played a strong game but LeGrand pulled ahead in extra innings with Elpha Haynes scoring the winning run. The nine ended tied eight to eight after nine, receipts totaled 100 dollars with profits over 100 and hopes to donate around 300 to the Red Cross. The crowd numbered about 3,000 making it the largest LeGrand gathering.
