The community mourns Jerry Edward Harvey who died at Deaconess hospital in Marshalltown at 6 20 PM Wednesday after a prolonged illness. Born April 1 1861 in Washington Tow, he lived in Hubbard LeGrand and finally Marshalltown, where he ran a meat market, harness shop and restaurant. Survived by wife four children and multiple siblings, funeral at Friends church at 2 30 PM Sunday with a 1 30 PM prayer service. Burial in Friends cemetery.
