A total loss fire consumed the Cyrus Richards home and most contents after an 11 o clock blaze. Uncle Cy and Aunt Jo escaped in nightclothes. neighbors aided, with $1500 total loss and $850 toward rebuilding. A second fire alarm from the Harvey home prompted quick response by H M Armstrong who stopped a stove flare up. Community support expected to help the couple return home.
