District Endeavor Convention Meets Seventy Fifth Rally Summary
The twelfth district Christian Endeavor Rally was at the Friends church with 250 in attendance. Rev Crippen opened with prayer. Delos Edwards of Bethel Grove served as president with Russell Harding of Marshalltown as vice president. Two discussions on Endeavor work were led by Rev Stratemeier and I C Fellers. Rev Trickey delivered the main address on A Modern Young Christian. Mildred Yantis led devotions and gave a chalk talk on the Way of the Grass, sung by Lucille Yantis. Closing prayers and benediction followed.

Mrs Homer Rhodes hosted twenty five guests at the R N A hall for Mrs Charles McCune. Prizes in bingo went to Mrs Raymond Beane and Mrs Dona von Hines. Radio contest winners were Mrs Howard Antle and Mrs Cal Dougherty. A humorous reading “The Townsend Pump” was given by Mrs Dougherty.
