Seals to Iowa redress TB battle spans state map

The Iowa Tuberculosis Association distributes thirty two million vaccine seals to county and local chairmen. Placed end to end the quota would form a double barred cross from Rock Rapids to Keokuk with arms to Onawa Algona and Council Bluffs Mason City, enough to pave a Jefferson Highway strip.

PTA Meeting With One Act Plays At High School

The December PTA meeting will be held in the high school auditorium next Tuesday at 7 20 PM. The program features three one act plays by the public speaking class. A small 1c charge is asked to cover costume costs and families are asked to bring six donuts and utensils for their own use.

Merritt Gaunt did the work as Mr and Mrs Magnus Holland spent Thanksgiving in Mar Mrs J H Crosby. Lloyd Omundson of Michigan City Ind visited and stayed with his parents Mr and Mrs Lars Omundson. A bazaar and baker sale will be held Saturday Dec 7 in the west room of Dunham's store with waffles and coffee. Omer Manship and family of Lamoille Mrs Emma Harmon of Rhodes and Merrill Radloff of Ames college made up the Radloff family circle at the Max Radloff home. Mrs Radloff's health remains about the same.
