LeGrand residents say farewell to H J Bowen and family after 23 years in livery and drag service. The Bowens head to a Creston-area farm, with Donald Carl and Max joining the shift to rural life. Mrs. Helge Larson died after exertion of wading through snow to neighbor Mrs. Claus Rasmus home last Friday evening. Born Chicago July 4 1865 she was married to Helge Larson in 1882 and left eight children and three grandchildren. Funeral planned for Monday with services at the house and Friends church.
