Jonah Duncan longtime LeGrand resident dies after apoplexy on Saturday morning at his son Ray Duncan’s home. Born August 13, 1831 in Ohio he moved to Iowa in 1856 and helped build LeGrand Christian church. funeral held Tuesday at the Christian church conducted by Pres. E A Watkins with hymns Naomi and All hail King Emanuel. Burial in Pleasant Hill. Pallbearers listed.
