Utility Pays First Half of Iowa Tax to 21 Counties
The Iowa Electric Light and Power Company paid 92 087.59 as the first half of its property tax to twenty one counties where its property is located. Marshall county received 14 837.42. Quite a few signs in the town were vandalized last Friday night including a highway commission warning against tractors with logs on road 135.
