Miss Naomi Weitzell spent Saturday at Bertram Sawyers while L. J. Knudson visited with his brother James. Farmers are busy seeding with some grain sown last week. G. W. Kellogg hauled Mrs. Simmerman’s goods to Gilman. Mrs. J. L. Richardson of Gilman visited C. W. Kellogg’s. Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Latham and Mr. and Mrs. Delmar Latham called in Gilman. Mrs. J. J. Beane stayed at the Tow home. Marvin and Basil Tow returned to Grinnell to resume school after spring break.

All parties must remove rubbish and ashes from streets and alleys adjoining their property by May 1 1917. If not completed, the cost of cleaning will be charged to the property. By Order of Mayor.

Several families including Weitzels Frundles and Renbargers are noted visiting relatives and attending social events.
