Death of Harry Chilson noted in California
Word comes of the death of Harry Chilson at his daughter Mrs. H W Fannon’s home in California. He was a pioneer LeGrand hardware merchant in a two story brick building and owned a farm west of town. Chilson left LeGrand for Hubbard and Garwin, lived in Eldora, and died at age 9. He is survived by sons Carl and Arthur and three daughters.

Penn College Glee Club Delights Small Friends Church Audience
The Penn College Glee Club of about twenty girls led by Miss Helen Hogeboom performed at Friends Church on Saturday night before a modest crowd caused by businessmen unable to attend. The program featured glees and solos, with reader Miss Helen Madden praised for her narration. selections included The World is Waiting for the Sunrise and In the Time of Roses, and the group received favorable notes for accuracy and expression.

Obituary for Ellen Kjarmoe of Liscomb and Le Grand
Mrs Ellen Kjarmoe 1610 West State street died at home Friday morning after a weeklong pneumonia illness. Born in Norway December 28 1862 she came to America as a young woman. Survived by five sons Oliver Melvig Orvilla John of this city Amos of Torrington Wyoming and three daughters Mrs Oli Kerkin Mrs James Small and Mrs Charles Macy. Two sisters one brother and her father also survive. Funeral was held at Central Church of Christ Marshalltown with Rev Georges W Biersborn in charge. Burial Stavanger Cemetery Le Grand. Times Republican Early Ohio and Rural New Yorker listed.
