Soldier Convicted On Robbery Count
A 20-year-old Fort Sill soldier, Pfc. James Kevin Hurt, was convicted in district court of robbery with firearms. The jury deliberated about two hours before returning the guilty verdict. Sentencing is set for October 12 by Dist Judge J. Winston Raburn. Hurt was arrested December 24, 1975, after a Jiffy Food Store robbery reported by a clerk. a sawed-off 410 gauge shotgun was involved.
