Street fighting flared in Beirut eastern suburbs despite mediators efforts to enforce a weekend cease fire. Moslem leftists and right wing Christians clashed with guns mortars and grenades, while snipers bloodied streets and bread and water ran short. Security trucks delivered flour as prices rose and a pirate Christian radio broadcast resumed after 18 years. Officials had just seen a calmer Saturday night and a Sunday of relative quiet before renewed clashes.
