Young Girl Nabbed On Heroin Charges
An 11 year old girl was arrested in Springfield on heroin possession with intent to sell after detectives found 17 bags of heroin inside a toy fire hydrant disguised to hold candy. Capt. Robert Meffen said younger children are used by adults in drug trafficking. The girl was released to her parents pending further action.
