Lawton Housing Authority Considers Late Rent Policy

In a regular meeting on Thursday the Lawton Housing Authority eyed a new late rent payment policy. Chairman Sam West proposed forming a committee to study the plan for the October board session. The discussion included a possible 50 cent daily charge for rents paid after the fifth, while current late fees would be replaced by a standard two dollar charge.
