Family tales from a busy day in 1910
Local notes recount a mix of domestic mishaps and small events. A boy avoids new armor for confinement after chest laceration from a play sword and a football head cut. A missing watch reappears at a garbage container. A photograph of a dying girl’s pet raccoon prompts sorrowful reflections. A wandering dog stays with one home, and prairie dog humor from Albuquerque is cited.
