In Hong Kong a daily no holds barred 100 year old race runs from shore to incoming Pearl River trawlers. About 100 men gather at a western Colonial Island pier each morning around 110 o clock to swim and net the fish for market. Swimmers time their pace to board the trawlers and avoid propeller injuries. Crowds cheer and bets fly as nets filled with fish are carried off.
