Arson List Grows Here
Two more vacant house fires were blamed on arsonists here, raising the count since August. A 12:45 a.m. blaze at 1405 Texas and a 1:19 a.m. fire at 13th and Georgia damaged rooms in the houses with minor damage. Fire Marshal Ray Catlin said the fires may involve different arsonists and noted amateur methods. He added investigators have few leads as the rash continues in the south Lawton neighborhood, where over 20 such fires have occurred this summer, including a previous church fire at 1608 Euclid.
