Army weighs women in combat support roles in major study
The Army launches a comprehensive study to determine how women can fit into the service and how many could serve effectively in a combat environment. While not changing long standing combat prohibitions, tests include ~200 women in Western Europe to assess endurance and performance under field conditions.
